About Us.

An Inclusive Multi-Disciplinary Community

Founded in 2016, the North American Immuno-Hematology Clinical Education & Research Consortium, encompasses all disorders within immuno-hematology including those with complex immune cytopenias, bone marrow failure, lymphoproliferative and histiocytic disorders, immune deficiencies, autoinflammatory disorders and immune dysregulatory syndromes along with emerging phenotypes of a similar nature.

NICER is committed to being purposefully inclusive of pediatric and adult providers from multiple disciplines including, allergy/immunology, genetics, hematology/oncology, hematopoietic stem cell transplant, rheumatology, infectious disease, gastroenterology, endocrinology, etc. to enrich the educational environment and research goals of the consortium.

Executive Committee

Join Us.

NICER Consortium relies on two types of membership: institutional members and individual members to allow for robust and meaningful participation by all those interested. Members from the fields of hematology/oncology, allergy/immunology, rheumatology, genetics, infectious disease, diagnostic immunology and more are actively being recruited.

For those not in a position to join NICER at an institutional level, we welcome your participation as an individual member.  Individual members are noted as important contributors to the vibrancy and success of NICER and enjoy the benefits of access to all NICER educational activities (e.g. the monthly patient case conferences, mini symposia), options to propose research studies in collaboration with an institutional member and authorship opportunities for significant contributions to NICER research. Individual members fee is $200 annually or $500 every 3 years.

Importantly, all members have access to mentoring initiatives and to real-time communication options via the NICER listservs and chat rooms for in-the-moment expertise, feedback and support at your fingertips.
